Browser-Based Estimates

All scores, click speed metrics (CPS), intervals, and polling rates calculated on CPSCheck are browser-based estimates. While we use high-precision browser timing APIs, measurements are naturally influenced by device capabilities, operating system scheduling, background applications, and browser performance.

Modern web browsers impose internal limitations, such as capping event loop frequencies, coalescing pointer movements, or throttling background tabs. As a result, browser-measured polling rates or rapid click bursts may be lower than your hardware's actual theoretical maximum.

CPSCheck tools are designed for personal benchmarking, practice, and general device verification. They are not certified laboratory measurements and may differ from results obtained using dedicated low-level desktop diagnostic software or hardware oscilloscopes.
